OVERVIEW
On this 9 Days Rwanda Uganda tour, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Trek Musanze caves, Iby'Iwacu cultural village experiences; and track mountain gorillas in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable
National Park, enjoy splendid game viewing experiences in Queen Elizabeth NP looking for lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, hyenas, etc.
You will also track the Kibale chimpanzee (with possible sightings of other 12 primates species) in Kibale National Park.
The tour is private and exclusive, only you or your privately arranged group with your safari guide. So you can start any day.
The safari starts from Kigali city or airport but can also start from Entebbe airport in Uganda.
Transportation is by a 4x4 safari customized land cruiser with a pop-up roof for enhanced game viewing experiences.

Day 1: Kigali city tour, genocide memorial, Musanze cave experience

Day 2: Iby'Iwacu cultural village experiences (or opt for gorilla tracking or Golden monkeys). For gorilla tracking, the permit cost is $1500 and has to be pre-booked.

Day 3: Twin Lakes canoe trekking, cross to Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda (you can top-up USD900 to have 4 hours with the gorillas in the gorillas habituation experience instead of the standard 1 hour)

Day 5: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, look for tree-climbing lions in Ishasha Sector

Day 6: Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, boat safari on Kazinga Channel looking for more wildlife

Day 7: Kibale National Park, East Africa's primate capital

Day 8: Chimpanzee & primate trekking in Kibale Forest (or top-up $70 for the full day chimps habituation experience)

Day 9: Drive to Entebbe International Airport (5 hours) or Kigali Airport for departure (8 hours).

January to March: Hot and dry, an excellent time of year to be on safari in Uganda.

April and May: Uganda’s long rainy season when many camps are closed. Rains tend to be in the morning and late afternoon.

June to September: Temperatures climb rapidly and this is a fantastic time of year for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

October to December: Another great time of year to be on safari, you can get some rain in November but temperatures are favourable and conditions are ideal for game viewing.
